Hello, I'm Kushal

Works across 3 schools in Seguin ISD with students from low-income families, first-generation students, and students with disabilities. Mentors students in homework help, standardized test prep, college applications (Common App, FAFSA, scholarships), and high school graduation planning. Works with up to 4 students daily.

Assisted ~16 students daily during New Student Orientations with enrollment, course selection, class scheduling, and academic tools including the Navigate platform. First point of contact for questions about campus life, student services, and degree plans. Collaborated with faculty, advising staff, and fellow peer advisors.

First job in the United States. Prepped, cooked, and served food in a high-paced kitchen at TXST. Led a team of 6, trained 8 new team members, and worked concessions and catering. Built foundational skills in time management, stress management, teamwork, and cross-cultural communication.

Completed hands-on training before joining as regular staff. Took orders, operated the register, prepared drinks, and performed closing duties. Developed customer service skills and learned cafe operations in a team-oriented environment.

Elected Treasurer then promoted to Secretary. Managed club finances, budgets, meeting minutes, and internal communications. Volunteered in tree plantations, blood donation drives, clothing donations, and crowd management events. Resigned upon moving to the US for studies.

First ever job, working at my father's garment business. Gathered ordered items, prepared deliveries, and ensured correct packing for buyers. Gained early exposure to sales, marketing, and basic accounting, sparking a lasting interest in how businesses operate.
